Hi Gillian

Just a note on your interaction with your doctor.

If possible, get a copy of a book entitled "How Doctors Think" by Jerome Groopman, MD.

He addresses the issues of what to do when you and your doctor are not communicating well which seems to be your case.

Hi
Sorry so long to reply! Had some dramas here with storms and flooding etc.
How can they justify sending out such a faulty report, surely they should have suggested it be redone?
(by the way they use the things that clips onto your finger.). So now I'm thinking that until I have another test done, I really have to ignore this one.

I have doubted the amount of REM sleep I have had for ages. My sleep has been extremely disrupted for +- 15 years, just getting worse and worse, but always put down to all other a health issues. Sleep apnea only came into the picture by accident when my husband mentioned to my RA doc about the gasping, choking etc at night. CPAP is obviously doing the trick with respect to OSA but of course not CA. So is it just "tired, headaches fogginess" that worries me? No not by any means. In fact they are probably the very least of my issues. having pAin 24/7 would probably take first place!

I guess as with anyone with a sleep disorder, one of the things I really need to know is that I am doing whatever needs to be done to minimise any 'damage' as a result of the condition. Obviously feeling better as a result would be nice but I was warned early on that that was unlikely.

I am going to put in another comment after the post before this one where the other data is.

Thanks again Mollete.

What are you saying? Is there anyone in this forum who isn't influenced by ' a number that looks bad' . How else do we judge?

What are you saying?
Simply collecting/linking the list of things that need to be addressed.

Hey, you got the quotes thing down!

Hey Gillian!

Are you dried out yet or washed out on The GBR somewhere?
