CPAP WILL BE HERE TODAY

Post by nwyant » Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:19 am

My cpap machine is being brought to me today sometime. I'm excited to think I might actually get some sleep tonight. They are going to start me on nasal pillows, because I want to be able to wear my glasses when I have the macine hooked up. Wish me luck!!!

Great news!
I hope you have done all your "homework", and are prepared to reject a brick if necessary.
Remember whatever machine you get now may be what you will have to live with for several years.
If you have to wait/fight a bit longer to get a full EFFICACY data machine, it is worth it.
I used my Elite (still a great machine) for 9 months, but was lucky enough to afford my Autoset out of pocket.
The difference was worth it to me, but not everyone can afford to have a second machine.

Excellent news nwyant! Remember, there are no quick fixes with a lot things in life and PAP therapy is certainly no different. This therapy is a life long journey (at least for most of us), not a quick sprint... . Have patience, stay consistent, learn to appreciate the journey and the improved sleep and health that can come from it . Good Luck!

John
