My RemstarPlus is obviously a few years old. I never turn the humidifier ON, I just keep the tank full because it tends to condense on my face. Recently I have been getting intermittant floods from the humidifier, my lower shelf on my nightstand is just about ruined! It doesn't happen every time, just about every 3rd tankful. I inspected everything for wear or damage and found none. I filled the tank full and set in on a white paper towel on my sink all day and had no leaks. I inspected the tank gasket and it looks fine, truth be told, if the tank were not full, it shouldn't matter even if the gasket was bad.
When it leaks, even the inside of the machine around the heating element is dripping with water and I can dump it out. Has anyone else experienced this?
