Hi wanted to know if this machine is a bipap. And what are u asking for it. I'm in Miami 33177. I have a machine that went bad on me and I don't have insurance since I've been unemployed since may of last year. Hope to hear from u soon Jose.

Congo... this NOT a bipap, its a plain jane discontinued machine. It was discontinued in 2009 or 2010...I have an M series but it is an auto and I only paid $60 for it. It only had 250 hours on it ..so please be sure about what you are buying and what you are paying for it. You can go to cpap.com and look this model up, they have the info there in black and white .

thx for the advice. It's greatly appreciated. I'm new to this as to learning about all the names and models. I think an auto won't work for me since I need the bi pap.

They make a BiPap Auto that would work for you because it can also be used in straight bilevel mode which is what your PR S1 BiPap Pro offers.
The original poster in this thread is offering a plain jane basic cpap machine. Doesn't do anything but blow a single fixed pressure. It won't do what you need with bilevel pressures.
You need to stay with machines that say BiPap because that means bilevel pressures.

That's awful!
I hope you have coverage for this. If you haven't already, you should report this to the area police.

Towards getting a replacement: I don't know about Brasil, but here you will need a prescription to buy it from a service provider. You can find machines on the secondary (used) market, but that's harder to do when you're in a rush. Hopefully you know you're prescription so that if you DO find one it can be set properly.
