Competitive Bidding & High-end CPAP Products

Post by CPAP4Lyfe » Wed Feb 06, 2013 12:28 pm

Does anybody know if masks/machines from ResMed & Respironics will cost less to DME's now with the large Medicare cut? And in turn if they will become cheaper to us? Please let me know if you have any stories or have talked to DME's about this, thanks!

My excellent DME just sold out to another DME because of all of the changes. Not only did they cut CPAP charges but oxygen also. I suspect they cut everything. Fortunately for me, I am still dealing with some of the same people. The competitive bidding is running small DME's out of business.

Sleep well,

Steve
