Getting ready to sell my S9 Autoset

Post by kaiasgram » Fri Feb 01, 2013 2:12 pm

I'm switching to a bilevel machine and need to sell my S9 Autoset to help offset the cost.

S9 Autoset For Her description: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... fier+.html

Gentlemen, you could cover the pink with whatever color/design you like. See the ResMed link to skin covers here: http://us-resmed.skinit.com/

I've had my machine for six months, bought it new from cpap.com on July 26. As of Friday 2/1:
Total Used Hours = 1446
Total Run Hours = 1576

My home is smoke free and pet free.

I'm hoping to sell the machine (blower and humidifier) as a set. After doing some online research I'm hoping to sell the set for $500 - $550 (based on seeing a gently used S9 Autoset on secondwind for the same price). That is half the price I paid for it new from cpap.com. I may need to settle for less depending on level of interest so PM me if you're interested and let me know what you are able/willing to pay. Thanks.

My bipap should arrive on Feb. 8 so I anticipate I can ship the S9 Autoset out on Monday Feb. 11.

Feel free to send me a PM.

I know you're trying to offset the expense of a new bipap but do you have another backup machine? It's really important to have one just in case something goes wrong with your primary. I'll be interested in your updates about the bipap as I've switched Mike to the Vpap about 3 weeks ago and so far there's been a marked improvement in his therapy although the numbers still vary from night to night. It's a bit harder for me to get things right without input from the patient, but I really love this machine and his improved energy I'm noticing. Good luck.

Dori, thank you for thinking about this. It's really a necessity and not a preference that I sell my S9 to at least partially offset the cost of the bipap. I don't have another backup machine but it is the highest priority when I get back on my feet.

I'm so glad to hear that Mike is doing better -- I'm hoping for the same outcome when I get my Vpap. I'll let you know how it's going, and keep me/us posted as well.

Secondwind CPAP only sell low hour machines, I got one off them with 10 hours on it off them for the price you are asking. SWCpap would not buy your machine with the hours you have, I would say your machine is only worth $250-300 max, this is just my opinion & I dont mean to offend
In Australia where I am & machines are very expensive you would probably get that money

Hi Taring -- SWCpap has offered to buy my machine for a very low amount -- since they would have turned it around and sold it at a markup, I'm hoping to skip the middle man and sell directly.

No offense taken at all, I asked for people's thoughts.

bump...
I have to give credit to my husband for thinking of the "skin" cover. When I told him I wanted to buy
your "for her" machine, he simply stated: "you just want it because it's pink, why don't you just order
yourself one of those skin thingies for the machine you've got".
I couldn't really argue with that

I should have my VPAP on Friday and I'll repost at that time with an update on the total run hours and a photo of the screen showing the hours.

oh no - you have to sell your pink beauty. My condolences.

I wish I was in the market for another S9 auto right now. But I'm looking to purchase a travel machine first.
