retreiving data from the "smart card"
I was told, at my doctor appt., that it takes "special applications" to read my own card and that those applications can really screw up your computer? I guess I needed to bring this one up to Pugsy?

Hah, that's funny. Your Doc's a computer guru too? There must be a hundred of us here that read our own data and our computers are working just fine. I'm not familiar with your equipment, I'll let someone who is tell you what you need.

Well.....I won't even go there. Mainly I think they just prefer to keep us in the dark ages. Nearly 4 years of using various software programs and never once messed up my computer.Summer Rain wrote:I was told, at my doctor appt., that it takes "special applications" to read my own card and that those applications can really screw up your computer? You can use either EncoreBasic or SleepyHead with the Patch...or both and nothing bad will happen to your computer.
With the 460 machine you will have to do the Patch if you want to use SleepyHead.

Thanks!
I do definetly want to learn how to retrieve my own data....though, I am not so very "technologically literate" ..... but as help is needed, I know who to ask, HUH? Thing of it is...if I get the data...is it going to be easy to "interpret"? I know that there are a lot of terms I am just now learning for things...?
