Does this mean it is time for me to get a new latex insert?

Post by Matty332 » Mon Jan 21, 2013 2:55 am

G'day,

Geez it has been a while - that means the treatment has gone well I suppose. I love CPAP.

Anyways lately I have been feeling tired in the afternoons again, sometimes a bit brain fogged and unco. I have a feeling my CPAP needs adjusting. I used to have almost no leaks at all, I have noticed after downloading my data (it has been months) that my leaks seem to be high but I still don't have enough knowledge to determine if the leaks are effecting my treatment. Please see the snapshot below...

It has been maybe 5 months since I replaced my mask latex insert, could it be the reason that my leaks are getting larger? Oh and could the above amount of leaks effect treatment or aren't they high enough (I still get the smiley face)? Thanks for any help.

I would think its time. If you have a spare, you can try to boil it which could bring it back or make it much worse. There are older post with details but only try them if you have a spare.
