Dreams and CPAP
Did you find that you started remembering your dreams more and having more vivid dreams after starting CPAP?

Re: Dreams and CPAP
no, I didn't remember dreams before cpap and i still don't - I was expecting that I would but it didn't happen and based on my Zeo readouts I certainly am spending plenty of time in REM

Re: Dreams and CPAP
I am definitely remembering my dreams more now, since starting CPAP. I think I'm having more of them too.

Re: Dreams and CPAP
I hardly remember any now;
before cpap, they were mostly bad,
some extremely disturbing.
I don't miss them.

Re: Dreams and CPAP
Mostly dreams of drowning, buried alive, suffocating. Lots of them were repetitive, as in many times/night, same dream frequently came back months later and I had a rerun. The subject matter made sense after I got on the hose. Since then, no bad dreams.

I've been a cyborg for almost a week. All my dreams are saga's involving masks and machines.

My dreams on CPAP are pretty awsome actually. Pre-cpap...just dreams of suffocating, drowning, etc because I was.

Re: Dreams and CPAP
I never had a single dream before starting CPAP; now I have two vivid dreams every night. I remember two of them because I wake up a little bit after the first one, look at the clock, and then go back to sleep and have another dream. Very strange that it works that way almost every night, but it does.
Re: Dreams and CPAP
Since starting the CPAP I've been dreaming more or just remembering them now. They are so vivid. Never bad dreams though. Just doing a lot of things in my dreams. Its a wonder I'm not tired when I wake up. Maybe now I'm getting to the dream stage where I wasn't before. The doctor said I was only getting to two stages most of the time. I'm having a rough time with the mask at night being tight. I'm on steroids and I have a moon face which makes wearing the mask very tight. Wish I were 20 again.....on the other hand no I dont - raising kids again - un huh!!

Re: Dreams and CPAP
Before CPAP is was extremely rare for me to remember my dreams. Now I remember them very clearly and they are extremely vivid. And I'm having more nightmares than I ever have before too. I'm really digging it! Not the nightmare part... Just being able to remember them.
