I just received by CPAP machine and since it is going to be my night time companion, I would like to give it a name. I have one question. How can I tell if my machine is a boy or a girl?

You can tell by the size of the hose.

I believe there was a thread concerning this topic last year.

My suggestions:
Pick something generic like "Thing" (from "The Addams Family")
Depending on your persuasion, pick a name from the opposite gender (since it's going to be your bed partner for a long time)
OR.....sleep with it for awhile (since you've been sleep and oxygen deprived).....and you may forget about giving it a name.

Oh......dear me.......I never even THOUGHT about that.....and I've been sleeping with it for..........hmmmm....long enough to know what IT should be called........I mean......there's Luther, Leia, Mambo, Pavaroti, Malta, Diva, and Gidgie.......AND I DIDN"T EVEN NAME MY NEWEST PET! Shame, shame on me......!
