I just received by CPAP machine and since it is going to be my night time companion, I would like to give it a name. I have one question. How can I tell if my machine is a boy or a girl?
Thanks
(I think I have been sleeping without enough oxygen too long.)

In our current age of androgenousness, does it matter? I mean, if it pleases you . . .Anonymous wrote:How can I tell if my machine is a boy or a girl?
I believe there was a thread concerning this topic last year.
My suggestions:
Pick something generic like "Thing" (from "The Addams Family")
Depending on your persuasion, pick a name from the opposite gender (since it's going to be your bed partner for a long time)
OR.....sleep with it for awhile (since you've been sleep and oxygen deprived).....and you may forget about giving it a name.
Best wishes,
Den

Here's a link to the thread containing 4 pages of posts on naming your machine:
Have you given your CPAP a Name?
