Can hear my Inhalation
Can hear my Inhalation
When I first got my cpcp machine, I was amazed at how quiet it is. The last 2 nights, I noticed I can hear my inhalations rather loudly (don't hear a sound when I exhale). Is something starting to go south with my machine?

Check hose and mask for leaks. That is what it was when I had it.

nope not the tubing or the mask. In fact, if I just let the machine run with no tubing, there is a loud whooshing sound coming from the little air filter intake. I cleaned the filter - even removed it...it is loud. I think the machine has an issue.
Re: Can hear my Inhalation
When mine does that, it's usually an issue with position. I jiggle it around, put it down lower, unkink the hose, and eventually something works.

If the noise is coming from the filter area, it could be a machine issue. DEAN

Re: Can hear my Inhalation
I just put my True Blue on, cranked up the machine and did some deep breathing and can hear my inhalations loud and clear--not so much with shallow breathing. Sounds just like the last year plus, check out the machine.
