Well Snoozin-if you are looking for a learning experience just take yourself to the women's lingerie department. Who knows what you might find to inspire your creativity.

Maybe a trip to Home Depot or Lowe's would work better for you-go to the velcro fastener section and look for velstretch straps-much more masculine. They seem to be made of the same material CPAP headgear is made of. You can fasten the two straps together if needed to fit around your head and the mask. It won't have that silky feel of the panty hose but doesn't involve the dreaded trip to the lingerie dept. Have fun whatever you do.

What's the problem? I just went to Target and stocked up on pantyhose, Fixadent and K-Y Jelly. Ok, Ok, ... I went to the Target two towns away and wore a large bucket hat but I got the supplies.

My problem is not so much going and buying but understanding the difference between "PANTYHOSE", "PANTYHOSE TIGHTS" and "WAIST SLIMMERS" and how to find and identify them in order to purchase them.

hmmm. now that makes more sense. I can't believe that panty hose stops the leaking. Is that for when you change sleeping positions?
What is interesting about this is I told my DME about the first swift leaking, where the O rings are and she just gave me a new one, sent the first one back. Haven't had a leaking problem with this one at all. Except of course through the nares, when I change sleeping positions, but I bought some mask sealant for that problem.

Also bought some Aquaseal mask sealant from the dive shop close to Dallas. I am going to try to seal a nasal aire II, leaked since the first day.
used to seal wet suits and it stretches and should be safe for the mask. DME said to try it, she is going to mail out a new nasal aire anyway.

It holds it in place so that when you shift positions, the mask doesn't, too.

About the O rings, mine used to leak a bit, too. Used a bit of paper medical tape around the ends of the plugs that get inserted into the barrel on the Swift and it stopped them from leaking. Also used it under the plastic/rubber slider that holds the two ends of the barrel together. Placed it over where the two ends meet and then slid the bar tightly over that. Stopped any chance of air escaping there, also.

Glad to hear yours is behaving itself this time around.
