is my sdcard pooched?

Post by mikewithe » Fri Jan 04, 2013 1:16 am

So I went in today for a followup and was told to bring my machine in with me. Always the good sailor, I followed orders and allowed them to pull my sdcard. But now I seem to have a problem. Every time I have ever plugged my machine in I have gottent the message:

"SDCARD Inserted, Prescription Accepted."

But now I only get:

"Data activity, do not remove sdcard."

Does this mean that my prescription is gone? Is something else going wrong? Anyone have any recommendations?

I don,t use your machine but guess the machine transferring data to the card
try press either the wheel or ramp button to silence the alert
hope it works for you

You're probably fine.

Does the data activity message go away after a while, and your machine appears to work? If so, you're OK, that's the normal way the machine works.

If so, what happened is that the card had your prescription "locked down" on the SD card before. This makes it reset your pressure settings on your machine every time you power it up or insert the card.

Probably they didn't "lock down" your prescription on the SD card this time. In this mode, the card sets your prescription one time and the machine remembers it until you do something to change it. You'll still have your prescription on the machine, but it's easier for you to change the prescription now if you know the secret button combination to get into the "clinician's menu."

If you don't want to change your own pressure settings, it doesn't matter.

Start the machine, and see if the pressure it shows on the display seems to be right.
