What is the most extravagant thing you bought for Cpap use

I've been wondering... why the dryer?? I let my stuff dry at room temperature. What does the dryer offer?

I probably should get a dryer of some sort. I hang my hoses on a coat rack and a week later, you can still see water in it. I switch between heated and not heated hoses.

I've been meaning to get this Datavac dust blower to blow dust out of my computers. Its a really strong blower that people also use to dry off their motorcycles. Runs about $52. Should be able to blow all of the water out in seconds.

I actually have one of those dusters that I use for a different purpose. It has held up really well, and I bet it would work just fine for blowing off hoses and masks.

I bought a backup auto bi-level PAP. I had a problem w/my first CPAP and my DME provider "loaned" me a different brand CPAP - but no humidifier. I dumped that DME provider and bought an auto PAP (w/humidifier) as a backup and for travel so that I was never put in that position again. My current DME provider has treated me extremely well and I have no complaints!

Me Too! I love my aromatherapy . My favorite scents are Clear, Peace, and Spice. I also have purchased two additional PAP machines since I started therapy. I know I only need one back-up, but now I have a back-up for my back-up .

Yeah, I think of Loreal every time I say that. I am not a blonde though but I figure we are all worth it. Not just me.
Not just women either.
I did get a good deal (well... good deal considering typical ResMed prices) on my VPAP but it was still a huge chunk of change.
Plus I have the best husband in the world. "Whatever you want, honey"

I bought a Zeo and oximeter. Glad I have both of them. The Zeo is used now and then and the oximeter is rarely used.

The most extravagant thing I bought for myself was this dryer from cpap.com. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/mvap-h ... dryer.html I really love this thing and yeah I know it was $149 but I'm worth it. Forgot my bedside Zeo and oximeter.

After cleaning, I put my empty humidifier tank back into the CPAP, connect the hose and mask, and run the CPAP for awhile. The air freely flows through the system and nicely dries everything out. I dry the outside with a towel.

A WEEK LATER!
The few times I've washed my hose I shake the water off of it, grab it near the middle and swing it around my head to clear the water then switch and swing the other half instantly dry!

The problem with "activated oxygen" aka ozone is, it degrades silicone and most other plastics.

Hmm. Probably the Zeo bedside and the oximeter. Or maybe the backup S9 autoset I bought from mcdover before I even got my official Elite from the DME.

That dryer looks interesting, though...
