favorite nasal mask? - other than a pillow mask
I'm interested in one that doesn't leak at high pressures - ffm masks haven't worked for me. I've tried 5 or 6 and i haven't made it through a single night yet - thought i'd try a nasal mask

Re: favorite nasal mask? - other than a pillow mask
Mirage softgel is great for me. My pressure goes up to 16 at times.
Re: favorite nasal mask? - other than a pillow mask
My pressure is 19, I'm listing below my favorite nasal masks:
1. SleepWeaver Elan
2. Resmed Mirage Vista
3. SleepNet IQ (new headgear didn't agree with me, if you've never used it, the headgear should be fine - my problem with new headgear was long hair)
4. Philips Respironics Simplicity (older mask, love the fit, but headgear disagreed with my hair - wore it for years when my hair was shorter)
and I like the looks of the new Wisp by Philips Respironics, its not available yet, but look like a very promising comfortable nasal mask, the headgear comes in 2 sided fabric, or silicone.
I have used all except the Wisp & had no trouble whatsoever with my pressure. As noted, the headgear became problematic due to my hair (the IQ changed headgear type, original still works with my hair). Since you don't have long hair, these should not be a problem. With the Simplicity. you will probably need one of the 'gel' pads for bridge of nose comfort. The first two listed are excellent masks, I'm not using because they are not as easy to fit with my reading glasses. My hubby's started calling them my 'sleeping glasses', since I read myself to sleep.
Good luck with your choice,
Jen

My favorite nasal mask was the cheapest one sold right now - F&P Aclaim 2 Nasal CPAP Mask. You must feed it from above as the hose is stationary as I recall. $39.95 at the host's site.

I like the F&P ESON. It has a diffuser and I don't get the blast of air coming off the vent. I'm impatiently waiting for the Wisp to be approved. I like the looks of it.

My SleepWeaver élan is the most comfortable I've ever worn, and I've tried over 20 others.
I would have kept the SW Advance, as some features were better, but, alas,
it was too big for my little honker, and leaked like a tea strainer.
