OT: Why am I being censored and my posts disappearing?

I have sent another PM to carolyngoodman.

Would simply like to know WHY my posts continue to get deleted even after what she wrote and reinstated posts from other threads per her conversation earlier in this thread and if possible, WHO is behind this.

I really wish that SPAM button would disappear for everyone (excluding a few trusted members maybe..) and board moderators would just be appointed to take care of things.

This place is really turning on me.

I didn't mean it in a way that "the people as a whole" were turning on me.

I meant the shenanigans if even by one user and what they are doing to me via this board is/are what's turning on me.

Can it be changed so that it requires x amount of spam clicks from different users before a post is deleted. I believe craigslist requires 5 different flags before a post is removed. That would allow people to get rid of real spam, but prevent people from deleting something just because they disagree or dislike somebody.

How about 5 clicks to get rid of the offending posters?

Of course, given the 80-20 Rule, about the only person left after about a week would be Dori.

Ok, some of my images have been restored. 1 has not. Apparently I stepped over the line with the one of the guy out in a field peeing in the wind even though his p3nis wasn't visible or anything, some were offended.

So I will have to be careful what I post. Hopefully I have enough brain cells left to make that distinction.

It's happened, from time to time, to a lot of us. If you participate on this board and in any way express an opinion (about anything really) or just show your personality, you may end up being the victim of one of these people.

And heaven help you if you decide to take a stand against an idiot.

I really don't see how that can be perceived as over the line. I have a little wooden garden ornament in one of my flower beds of a little boy peeing on my petunias (no penis is shown).......no one has ever thought that was not funny or cute. I see those little ornaments in lots of gardens....someone needs to take the blinders off and take things for what they are.

As Madalot says, it has happened to most of us at one time or another. If you can ride it out, it eventually stops.
