That's exactly what I was wondering. The leaks is what really gets me feeling down about CPAP therapy... I have been waking up at least twice a night having to adjust my mask for leaks. It's a catch 22 for me - I feel like I'm getting woken up more with my CPAP, but when I am sleeping I am achieving deeper sleep. On the other hand if I don't wear my CPAP, I feel like I get a more continuous sleep but it's not as deep of a sleep if that makes any sense. I struggle with the idea of having to fight my mask for leaks for the "rest of my life" (I'm 26). After my post above yesterday, I apparently jinxed myself because last night I fought like hell with my mask. It felt like it was riding on my nose in just the right spot to make it hard to breathe so I ended up turning the machine off and grabbing a breathe right to put on my nose and help open my sinuses up before putting the machine back on, counteracting the pressure on my nose from the mask. That seemed to help, but it was still uncomfortable last night. I'm really starting to regret not going with an oral appliance to fix my OSA... I feel that would have been much simpler.
