Obviously it wasn't obvious to everyone--including me!

Guess the guy was just trying to get folks riled up, then sit back and laugh like a few others around here like to do?!?

Oh, and to kind of stay on topic....I have small and medium nasal pillows for the Innomed Hybrid that I'd love to trade for large.

Wanke
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the pejorative term. For other uses, see Wanker (disambiguation).
Not to be confused with Wanka.

Wanker is a pejorative term of English origin common in Britain and other parts of the English-speaking world, including Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. It initially referred to an "onanist", literally meaning "one who wanks (masturbates)" but has since become a general insult. It is synonymous with the word tosser.[1]

Although not common in the United States, most Americans understand its meaning.[2]

The Meaning of WANKER
WANKER means "Idiot"

Get the idea guys?

I vehemently disagree with this. I started with a nasal mask, then switched to nasal pillows. My AHI during the titration study with the nasal mask was zero, but I was never able to get that low at home - probably between 2 and 3. Since using the pillows, particularly the Aloha, my AHI has come down to very slightly over 1 or less (untreated, 31). I have completely failed with full face masks, but that is probably because I have a beard. I have a FitLife mask on order from Sears which will be the final test. The only thing I can see wrong with my treatment, though, is that I may need a variable pressure during the night for when I roll onto my back. So, it is nonsense to say that nasal pillow masks ruin OSA treatment.

If you can breathe through your nose, get the right size pillows and adjust them correctly, nasal pillows are the EASIEST mask to use because of the small contact area. Not suitable if you mainly breathe through your mouth, have a deviated septum, or severe sinus congestion, but otherwise an excellent choice for those who can use them.

Avi, please don't make general broad statements like this based on your own particular experience. Others may well experience the same mask differently.

@Budsky - your post popped up while I was writing this, but a big thumbs up to you!

Sears? Sears sells CPAP equipment? Can you post a link to their site? Thx.

I haven't laughed so hard in a while!! Reminds me that I do miss my homeland some. Wankers and Stupid Cows - 2 of my most favourite terms for those who deserve it.

Cheers,

HELLO...... I was under the impression that what works for one person does not necessarily work for all. TO EACH HIS OWN!!!!

You are entitled to your opinion, just make sure you note that is YOUR OPINION.
