Sleepyhead

Post by dantheman » Mon Nov 26, 2012 8:56 pm

Can someone please contact a newbie and help me with sleepyhead? I have it downloaded to my computer but unable to import data from the smart card. I have a Respironics System One and my computer has Windows 7. Please e-mail me at danspeer@sbcglobal.net if you can help.

Thanks,
Dan

What is the model number of your machine?
3 digit number on a stick on the bottom of the machine usually preceded by DS or REF but might have other letters.
If it has a X60 number then you need the patch for the 60 series machine to be able to use SleepyHead.
Here is a thread that will explain it.

I see C668 on a sticker on the bottom. There are other numbers but they are not 3 digit.

Look on the bottom again for the sticker that has an 8 digit number probably beginning with 2012....that is the manufacture date in year/month/day format.
Model number is on the same sticker. Maybe you have additional numbers but normally just 3.
Example...my PR S1 BiPap Auto machine is model 750

If you still can't find it then look through this to see if you can spot your machine.

C668 doesn't help me at all.

Respironics has used the term "Remstar" in every model they make...there is just more to it than Remstar.
There should be other words on the machine besides Remstar.

Not all models of machines gather useful data...so Sleepyhead can't find it if it isn't there. That is why I was trying to figure out which model you had. SH might not find any data because none is to be found or it might be from the 60 series machine thing.

You can do the patch to try it if you wish. Won't hurt a thing.
