SleepyHead v 0.9.2

Post by KenPriddle » Tue Nov 20, 2012 3:46 pm

I have tried several times to find and download v 0.9.2, but I am only able to find v 0.9.1. I am hoping to find additional print functions in the latest version.

Thanks

I think that SleepyHead prompted me to update it to 0.9.2; I don't recall any newer print functions.

When I log in to Sleepyhead, it shows an update but it always fails when I try to upgrade. Any ideas?

Close Sleepyhead.
Right click on the Sleepyhead icon on your desktop.
Click on Run as administrator.
Update should work.

For Plubbo and mamagoober--Thank you for your replies and the instructions. The download finally worked for me and a quick look did not find the additional print reports that I thought I had seen. Maybe later, my pen still works!

I appreciate the site and the help everyone offers.

i don't know about the mac, but i do know that the update didn't seem to have any major changes in it. i think you're doing just as good without it.

Instead of trying to update from within the copy you have, download the fixed Mac beta from here:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/thefreemanclan ... pyHead.dmg

then install as a new application to your Applications folder, deleting the one you have in the process. Or, if you feel safer, you can choose to tell the installer to choose the option to keep the old one and add a number to the new fixed one. Either way, then open the new version.

This new version will open with all your existing data intact, and it includes the fix for duplicate sessions.

Start SleepyHead program.

Insert SD card.

Select or click "Import" and, if this is first time, select "New Location" otherwise "The Usual"

If "New Location" was selected and you are on Windows, select the drive letter which Windows has assigned to the sd card or, if on a Mac, select the temporary name assigned to the sd card: "NO NAME"

Thanks Nate.
That is what I have been doing, but it won't download the info. Maybe it is because I have the PR system one 560.

Did you get the Patch that is needed for 60 series machines? This is in addition to the regular update. See the Patch thread.
viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html

If you have done the Patch and still no data...tell us at what step you are getting to and not getting any data.
Any messages you see and where?

I have the version 0.9.2. Does this indicate the mentioned patch?

No. The first update was a generic update that came out shortly after SleepyHead was released.
It gives you version 0.9.2 but you need to also do the Patch (which is totally separate) and then you will get version 0.9.2-3 or at least that is what my SH is showing and I did the patch just to see how to do it.

The patch is a separate procedure and file and instructions on how to do it are in that Patch thread I gave you.
