Has anyone made any homemade CPAP pillows/pillow case?
Did you modify an existing pillow or created one from scratch? I'm going to draft something for my mother to whip up.
Homemade pillows?
Re: Homemade pillows?
Yes. I took an old wedge shaped foam pillow and customized it. I took an electric knife and shaped it to the desired shape. My goal was to be able to sleep on my side. I kinda cut the corners off on two sides and shaved it down so it would be comfortable for me. I already had the pillow and I took an old pillow case and my trusty sew machine and made it to fit. It works fine for me.

Re: Homemade pillows?
Yes...there are many different types of pillows the folks here have made. I used a solid foam pillow and cut out a half circle on each end for my mask to hang over, there is also a pillow someone designed called the papillow they made to go on top of your regular pillow that allowed your mask to hang over. If you would do a search on here with the words pillow or papillow you will find pictures...the thread was about 2 or 3 years ago. Now I have found that I can sleep just fine with my regular firm pillow and my mask doesn't move.
Good luck

Yes Some one on the forum designed a pillow pal I made one and it sure works out great. A pillow case would be easy enough to make for it or like one of the above posters said, modify a ready made pillow case to fit it. You can find pillow cases in thrift stores to modify with and such so you won't have to ruin a good one. Try a search on pillow pal on this forum. Huggies, Fay
