Anybody using a chin strap with a Swift FX nasal pillow? I am opening my mouth some which is causing quite a bit of aerophagia. Any suggestions as to which one would work best.
Thanks, Chris

I bought a cheap one of ebay. I used it for a few weeks and now I do pretty good at night with out it. Just train your self to keep the mouth shut.
Re: Chin strap with Swift FX?
Guess I am the other extreme of chin strap user from the response posted above. Have been through a ton of tweaks and am still experimenting, because basically I find the FX, especially with Bella Loops, very comfortable. Have tried training myself to sleep with mouth closed, but so far no luck, and I guess after a while I stick with what I know gives me the best night's sleep instead of trying to do without.
I started out with a PapCap but found my cheeks still puff up and lips still open on occasion, not every night, but enough to sometimes wake me up. So I started taping my mouth along with using the cap. (Lots of archived info on mouth taping, and on pro and con arguments.) I use surgical tape that is easy on the skin, comes in lengths that can be torn off by hand, and is available at the drug store. That worked ok, but I was curious about the Ultimate Chin Strap, which is pricey, but I found it very comfortable, and it seems to keep my cheeks from puffing out. The Bella Loops are steadied by the chin strap, so that is another benefit. In winter it is a bit warm, which is nice, but in summer I have experimented with using just the mouth tape and a cervical collar I have from an old neck injury. That works ok, not as reliably as having PapCap or Ultimate Chin Strap. My most recent tweak: I started noticing that my hair sometimes gets caught in the velcro at the top of the Ultimate Chin Strap, so I have made a hybrid strap out of the top of the PapCap as a sort of beret that is then topped by the Ultimate. This works great, is easy to slip on and off, but is bulky. My dream is to create some kind of turban chin strap from attractive material that does everything the above contraptions do, but looks ravishing instead of strange. Haven't invested the time yet, and recognize that making mouth tape look good may be a stretch. Long answer to a short question. Good luck, I hope this helps.
