Nose pads for nosde bridge problems?

Post by BostonSleeper » Fri Nov 09, 2012 1:56 pm

Hi, folks. Anyone had luck with nose pads? My FullLife Fullfit mask is pretty good but having what seem to be common "bridge of nose problems." Has anyone solved this with nose pad options?

Also, a side note. The Respironics Premium Tubing - 6ft. is very long for me; lots of extra tubing. Know of any shorter tubes that would be compatible?

Thank you

-- Bob

I purchased a gel t-shaped nose pad, but found it useless.
I forwarded it to another forum member, who had the same result.
I find that Pad-a-cheek mask liners work better.
EDIT: The problem with the shorter hoses, is that most are intended to be extensions to the regular hose,
having a male fitting at one end, which will not connect to anything but another hose, unless you have an adaptor.
I would not attempt to shorten a regular hose, but some are inexpensive enough that you wouldn't be out a lot if
you were less handy than expected.

Try the Gecko gel nose pads. They work great for me and last a long time also.

The gecko was the one that I tried.
It may work for some, but not everyone.

Your profile shows the Quattro FF mask...is it the Quattro or the Fullife(Fitlife?) mask you are having trouble with??

The T-shaped gel pad worked fairly well for me but generated occasional air leaks. I now use a cloth bandaid with 2/3 of the adhesive ends cut off. It seems to work well for me and you can use it several nights before you have to replace it. Dean

Buy some mole skin in the foot department of WalMart or any drug store. Cut a piece for your nose and put it on your nose, works great.

I was having MAJOR problems with the bridge of my nose, but I bought these Boomerang Gel Strips, and they were a lifesaver - FOR ME.
