Since I got my cpap

Post by larry89445 » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:26 am

In May of this year I was diagnosed with severe OSA 69.3 events an hour. I got my CPAP on the 13th of June, went to an AHI of 14.2 and now I have an AHI of 0.33 I'm so happy now that i sleep well. I did have my 1st night with an AHI of 0.00 on the on November 5. Same script nothing has changed but the mask went from an Easy life to a swift FX. Now my wife was diagnosed with mild OSA 10 events per hour and her OSA effects her worse than mine effected me, she will sleep for up to 12hrs and still be tired and not have energy to do any thing. It's amazing how OSA effects people differently.

Sounds like you have a great success story. Curious how your before/after energy levels are after 4 months of therapy.

My energy levels are a lot better I don't take naps anymore, I don't fall asleep at work that's a good thing seeing how i'm a dozer operator and routinely operate on top of a 300 foot high wall.
