CPAP questions

Post by Nate154 » Thu Oct 25, 2012 12:04 pm

I've been trying for awhile with a no data cpap and have some struggles with keeping the mask on all night. In fact, for over a year I've never once slept with it on all night. I fall asleep just perfectly relaxed and then whatever happens in the middle of the night.

I found this listing for a auto/cpap machine, a Respironics Virtuoso LX Smart CPAP System for $140. Do you think it would make any difference to try this machine or just a waste of money?

If you are not sleeping with it all night its more likely to be the mask that's the problem...not the machine.

I've tried countless number of masks, full masks, etc. The mask I have now is just great. I barely notice it.

Waste of money. That's a really old machine.

You would be better off to buy this one from one of our forum members. Same price. Newest technology. Full data and software to evaluate that data is easily obtained and used. Check out my signature line for those options.

Not an APAP but an excellent machine. With the reports available you can fine tune your own pressures and not need the auto adjusting pressures of the APAP.
