Where's My Data?

Where's My Data?
I just renewed my mask headgear and silicone cushion and clip, spent a reasonable night, looked forward to reading data but on downloading from Smartcard get message that "there is no data on the card" Why? The card is assigneds also prescription and machine details are set correct. Any ideas appreciated.

Maybe the write protect switch was off?

Thanks - but it is a "Smartcard" not SD and if not fully inserted (or inserted wrong way round) into CPAP the panel lights blink when machine switched on

Did you try reinserting it in the CPAP and see if it writes any data. Or check if the fold P Series is on the card and has files in it. If there is really no data inserting it again should write all but the waveform to the card.

You might try downloading the MyCpap Utility and reformatting the card.

Might try a new user profile...wild shot but worth a try.
Is it possible that the Smart card was not fully inserted? Like maybe a tiny bit out? I did that fairly frequently with my M series machine.
If the card utility eraser trick doesn't give you data tomorrow morning...maybe the Smart card decided to go belly up.
Those are the only 3 things I can think of at the moment.

Many thanks for your kind assistance - have downloaded formatting program and will hold. I believe that there is a possiblity that the card was not fully inserted, so will try tonight. Also have inserted card with power off, I believe that the power was on before so maybe machine did not fully read card.

It appears the M series selection (at least for the M series APAP) in the equipment menu is not working properly.
I would suggest that people make a selection and then go back and view one of their posts to see if the machine is showing up.
Pherrataus ...I don't see any machine now in your profile so apparently your choice is another one that doesn't show up.
The PR S1 Pro model 450 is another that is MIA.
You might just add your machine to your comments section for now to avoid confusion later.

Thanks Pugsy - obviously problem with software in that my machine does not show. Checked smartcard this morning and data stored and retrieved OK so it could have been not inserting smartcard fully or with power on that made it throw a wobbly.

Whew, that's a relief.
I can't tell you how many times I had my Smart card not quite fully inserted.
Also..one time I spent an entire day trying to figure out why I couldn't pull any data and thought it was the DT3500...multiple DT 3500 software updates and this and that...then decided to heck with it go to bed...pulled the Smart card out of the DT 3500 and there the gold box was...on the outside of the DT 3500...DUH...I had the darn Smart card in the card reader backwards.
