Has anyone who is a hose bearing person ever also had gall bladder issues? I am going @ 10am this morning to find out what can be done with mine.

I've had gallbladder issues: attacks, and eventual removal. They weren't fun, but I don't see a connection between it and OSA, if that's what you were suggesting.

My wife had her gall bladder removed 30 years ago, and was in the hospital for over a week. My Daughter in law had hers removed last year as an out-patient... ...things have changed...

FYI: There is a (weak) link between HRT (especially oral) and gall bladder disease in women.
The risk is not generally considered enough to offset the good effects, but reason to watch for symptoms.
(not that it's is an issue for you--)

My gall bladder was removed about 10 years ago. I started CPAP, and then ASV, back in February. No acid or stomach issues to speak of.

Had mine removed about 8 years ago. My surgeon says it's her favorite surgery because patients feel better immediately - the post-surgical pain is not as bad as the sick gall bladder pain. I had mine out on a Monday and cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. Actually, when the nurse called on Tuesday to check in on me I was in the middle of making lunch because my husband had a cold.....

It's amazing how well post-surgical pain is managed.
That is the main reason our hospital stays are getting shorter all the time.

Best part of the surgery is that now I have a cute cross on my belly. I had a horizontal scar on either side of my belly button from hernia surgery as a toddler. So my surgeon gave me a vertical one above and below as part of the gall bladder removal (along with two other teeny ones).

My gall bladder left me with a couple or so little sealed buttonholes;
The guy who took out the bad ute left a gigantic question mark from bikini line, up and around my navel.

I had my GB out in 2006. Felt better for a few years. I'm having nothing but problems now. Same symptoms practically. PLUS, I'm getting partial bowel obstructions from surgical adhesions. Just got out of the hospital a few weeks ago. Thankfully, I didn't need surgery.

However, I think most people feel great after everything is healed and adjusted, so if you need the surgery, I wouldn't sweat it.

My new gyn didn't believe me when I told her I'd had two c-sections. No visible scar.

No connection between gall bladder & sleep apnea.

I had my gall bladder removed this past July (07/12). All I have to show for it is, 4 small red dots. One in my navel, one several inches above that, and two on my right side. The surgery was done as an out-patient. I went in the hospital at 8 am, and was home again at 3 pm.
The only REAL pain, was when I got the bill for it in the mail!!!!!

POST surgery, I had to watch what I ate for a few weeks, no fatty foods, but after that I went back to eating whatever I wanted with ~zero~ problems.

Knowing first hand the pain you're going through with the gall bladder attacks, go get it removed as fast as you can!

Good luck!

I still have mine, but get attacks every 1-3 months when I don't eat right. Since its still healthy (just acting up every 1-3 months due to diet), the surgeon doesn't want to take it out.
