s9 autoset possible bad card
Card will not register on the cpap and the sleepyhead data looks skewed and funky. Also said it had like 908mb capacity. Not sure what it is on the stock card but that does not sound right. Can anyone tell me how big the card is supposed to be and what class sdhc it is supposed to be so I can buy a new one. Thank you.
Re: s9 autoset possible bad card
SD cards in 1 or 2 GB are the standard.
SDHC in somewhat larger capacities seem to work OK. I think I tried an 8 GB and it worked OK.
Class probably does not matter.
Non ResMed cards seem to work fine.
Be sure the write protect tab is not in the lock position.
The S9 machine will probably not ever fill up even a 1 GB card. It throws away old data.
908MB sounds reasonable. The S9 doesn't put a lot of data on the card.
What kind of computer are you using? Macs sometimes put a file on the card that the S9 doesn't like.

Its an Acer, windows Vista platform. Seems to be an issue of some sort. Sleepyhead would only take 7 percent of the load per blow up. The charts are showing negative values below the charts where there shouldnt be any.

You might try ResScan to see if it also has messed up data.
You can find it here in UncleBob's signature line

Tutorial on how to use it here

If it shows up just fine in ResScan might try a fresh install of SleepyHead...did you get the update for SleepyHead? There is only 1 at the present time.
If data is whacko in ResScan or ResScan can't read the card...then the card could be damaged. New cards are cheap..generic will work just fine.

Re: s9 autoset possible bad card
Put a Verbatim Class 4 4GB in. Seems to work great. Now Resmed is picking up the information. in my opinion that SD card was a POS. It said class 2 on it but it took 3 hours to run a virus scan on it. I tried to format it and it wouldnt work. I am guessing that Transcend made that card just because I read the letters on the back and it is clearly stamped TC, well not so clearly I had to use an Eye Loupe to see it.
Re: s9 autoset possible bad card
This thing is a definite pain in my butt and has been since I bought it in January. The first thing I noticed was that the cpap readout almost always said please attach a 90 watt resmed power supply even when it is attached or how else could the readout work. Also with the new card it crapped out at 1230 pm after going to bed at 11pm when it said cant read card and my machine SHUT OFF AGAIN. So I tried it without the card, worked for a little bit and crapped out again so I quick formatted the card in windows shoved it back in and it worked. The connector for the power supply is SO tempramental. Once I moved the S9 to the edge of the endtable and hung the cord straight down it stopped acting up and saying connect a 90 watt power supply. I need it to work, I cant go back to my old RemstarM (non autopap). I was in a car accident because of that machine.
Re: s9 autoset possible bad card
Now I cant figure this thing out it still says check your 90 watt power supply connector. UGH! I want to return it but the place I bought it from seemed unreasonable when I called them. Is there a Remstar rep I can talk to Please? Its been doing this since I bought it.

I had to get a new card to get my data... seems to be somethin' wrong with the cards that come with the machine.

Yes, now after that first time of reformatting in my replacement class 4 4GB Verbatim card with Fat32 with Windows Vista it has not freaked out since but this machine is still not right. Making another post to discuss the issue.
