Anyhow, I will continue to work hard at using my cpap, and will probably keep it even if the mouth piece works. I don't think I will ever be totally free of it especially as I grow older. Thannks for your comments, points well taken!
I don't trust the medical mafia. As Dilbert said, "I think they'd kill us in our sleep and sell our organs if the risk/benefit ratio was good."
I think Apnea is real, and there are very few fake diagnoses of apnea. Patients do get ripped off very often by the medical suppliers and doctors on their treatment, but most of us who are diagnosed really do have it and need CPAP treatment.

It depends on what machine you have. Some of the machines have full data. We can take the memory card and download the data to our computer. Some machines do not give this information. And many providers would prefer to give the cheaper machines rather than the nicer machines with data.
What machine do you have? How long have you had it?
Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Dear Archangel,
at the risk of sounding like I have a bad attitude, I am inclined to agree with yours and "Dilbert's" assessment about the organ selling for a profit!! This whole experience in addition to other experiences in my family just exemplifies the need to think for yourself.
The good news is occasionally I get a person like a couple of techs from one of the places I have gone are not only knowledgeable but actually have true empathy for the changes a person must make in their heads. For some reason, someone who just listens and hears even when you are at your most tired, sleep deprived, cranky limits, makes the whole thing more palatable. I think that is why this forum helps so much. Peace.

I'm at least partially joking. There are many fine individuals in the medical system.
Unfortunately, the "system" has become a monster. Medical care has been corporatized and government bureaucracy-itezed. The "system" is now a soul crushing money/power/bureaucracy machine. It crushes both the patients and the doctors, nurses, and everyone else who is part of the system.
