I purchased the battery pack last year, for about $350 and get about three 8 hour nights with a full overnight charge, at home, beforehand.
My issue is that i want longer camping trips and do not have access to plug in power to recharge. I took my battery pack down to our local battery store and found that I can use a power inverter in my truck to plug the battery in to. What I also found out was that the battery in the special remed bag is only worth $37. A few more $ for the cords and inverter/converter (i'm not sure what it is) and that means I paid at least $250 for the nice bag the battery is in. I will use a power inverter in the future but i also bought another battery as back up and it was a bit smaller so it also conveniently fit into one of the pockets of my very expensive remed bag.
Respironics battery pack
Re: Respironics battery pack
No it will not, not sure why but the PR 60s are listed as non-compatible. But Respironics have a dedicated 12VD DC cable for $25 which i can plug into my powerstation PSX-2, which i got at costco for $60Gerryk wrote:Will the one they make now not work? I would think it would, but the battery time would be decreased just as if you used the humidifier along with your cpap while on battery.Uncle_Bob wrote:I'm still waiting for a series 60 battery pack

probably not going to run the humidifier but should do the odd night and much cheaper than the battery packs.

Re: Respironics battery pack
I just got my Powerstation PSX-2 and used it with my Respironics System 1 with humidifier on a camp out. I got a solid two 6-hour nights out of it, and I suspect I could have gotten a third night as well. For conversion, I just bought an adaptor for cigarette lighter input. I got one with a 75 watt rating, as my System One has a max wattage draw of 60 watts. Can't beat the $60 price at Costco!
