ResMed S9 Date and Time

Post by SharonC » Mon Oct 15, 2012 9:00 pm

I'm having trouble changing my date and time. I went out west and set the clock back 2 hrs. Now that I am home, the time changed ok (2 hrs ahead) but the date is reading Oct. 16 and I change it to Oct. 15 but it won't stay on that...just keeps reverting to Oct. 16. Any help would be appreciated!!

That's odd. Usually the problem is going back, not forward.
What time did you try to change it?

The S9 clock runs from noon to noon for it's therapy day. It will not let you adjust the clock back into a therapy day that it has data for. It usually isn't a problem going forward though.

Have you tried changing the date then removing the SD card? Before re-inserting the card, unplug your machine from it's power source. Count to 10...or 15 seconds then plug the power cord back in. Each time the machine is un-plugged and comes back on it reads the SD card. It should read the change in date. Hope this works!
Good luck,
Cindy

Lol, I just noticed your join date. I just glanced at the month and post count last night an assumed you needed your data for compliance.

If you don't... upload your data to ResScan, and then you can erase all data on the card and the machine, and you will be able to set the clock/date, because there won't be any data in that timeframe.

When DST comes in November, if your location changes, wait until the late afternoon/evening after the change to "fall back".

Thank you all for your replies! I tried each one... and FINALLY did what Lizistired suggested, erasing the card and machine...voila, it's working...such a frustrating thing!! Thanks again for your help!

That's good, but I'm still curious about why you had trouble going forward.
I'm guessing the machine got turned on for a second while you were setting it back up, which would have recorded data for that day... or maybe it was still before noon.
Glad you got it straightened out.
