Newbie paying out-of-pocket (I have a very high deductible). I had a sleep study about 6 years ago (cost me $1200) and was told my apnea wasn't severe enough to progress further. I've gotten a lot worse since then. Finally decided to try a cpap machine. Got a Respironics Pro2 cpap machine (7 years old) off craig's list a few days ago. Seems to work very well and I think I'm getting a few hours sleep. I've gone through the instructions and changed some of the settings. The previous user has the pressure set at 8. I can't seem to find how to change that setting. Anybody know how to do that? (I have the smart card, but no software or the reader.)
Thanks!
how to change pressure setting?
Re: how to change pressure setting?
I think these are the instructions
"you can enter the setup menu by holding down the Ramp button and both of the right and left arrow buttons under the display window, while plugging in the CPAP. The 3 buttons must be held down until the setup screen starts."
Check your private message box. I am going to send you a link for the provider manual for the Pro... I think this is the model you have...the one prior to the M Series.
You have the Pro 2 and the only difference was the regular Pro didn't collect anything but hours of use and the Pro 2 collected full data.
If you get a card reader (the DT3500 Infineer) and want to view your software reports send me a private message and I will help you find some free software that will work.
That card reader is still available...I will send you a link for it at the cheapest price I have found on the internet.
