I agree w/ all of the positive comments regarding the usefulness of the Zeo for trend analysis. From the documentation they provide, it certainly appears it is reasonably accurate. The same could be said for sleep studies and the various reports available from our PAP machines. It appears none of them are perfect, or even close. They should all have caveats, including our 'gold standard' sleep studies. We should respectfully question everything when it comes to our own health.

I believe the Zeo is accurate in my case. I have used all of the data at my disposal to match identifiable bits of data, specifically the breathing wave form data from Encore w/ the REM stage data from Zeo. It matches the overwhelming majority of the time, almost to the minute.

I'd love to get at the raw data like Max but I have the mobile unit. I may actually buy the bedside version just to get additional data for analysis. It would be worth the expense to me.

I've had very good results with my mobile zeo purchased a month ago. The sleep times seem very accurate, and what's interesting is deep sleep, which I only get if I go to bed early. Later bedtimes=less stage 4 sleep. I find the Zeo a very useful tool for figuring out how to improve sleep. I wear it every night with my Swift FX, and leave a spare android smartphone plugged in next to it.

UPDATE: In August soon after I started this thread, I sent my Zeo back to Cpap.com where I had purchased it. The e-mail I received at the time said to give them 3 to 6 weeks to give me an answer as to what they were going to do about it. Well 7 weeks went by.....I called them to find out the status..... after 3 phone calls (each time the person I needed to talk to was not available) I received a call back. I was told that they had been trying to contact the manufacturer to no avail and that they were going to refund my money. I thanked them and that was it.....until the next day (last week) I got a call from Cpap.com informing me that the manufacturer (Zeo was going to send me a free Zeo and they needed my permission to give them my address. Two days ago I received a new Zeo in the mail and a refund from Cpap.com.

I just want to thank Cpap.com for the way they handled this situation.....they are good people and will continue to get my business.

For what is is worth, I have been using Zeo with my cpap for about a week and they work together very well. What exactly is the problem you are having? A lot of people with sleep disorders have such sporadic sleep they are not really accurate reporters of their sleep pattern so I don't think personal recollection is as accurate as the zeo reading. But if you are having problems recording info at all, that is something else again. Whatever, DON'T give up. Keep using both until you find what works for you.
