missing a part but still using the Res Med Elite 2

Post by christo » Sun Sep 23, 2012 11:41 am

I am using the Res-Med Elite2 without the bluish-transparent knob in the back that covers the filter. Somehow that part got lost. Is this dangerous?

As long as the (clean) filter is being held in place, I see no harm.

I tend to agree w/ChunkyFrog - however, if you are so inclined contact ResMed thru their website and ask them for the part number. They may just send you the part. Or give your local DME provider the part number and they can order the part for you and your insurance will pay for it.
