Might as well start her gettin' used to it, since . . .
Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) has been shown to have an important familial component, suggesting the presence of a genetic basis for this disorder. -- http://erj.ersjournals.com/content/32/5/1304.full

There is a theory that you might save your children from the curse of Sleep Apnea by having their Tonsils and Adenoids removed early in life. I wonder if an Orthodontist early enough might help?

I had mine removed at about 8 years old, didn't help.

yeap, I thought about that too. I tried using my pulse ox on her over night. she looks good for now. She is happy though I wear my face hugger! lol She says now she does not have to come check and make sure I am still alive and breathing in the middle of the night when the horrid snoring would stop.

My daddy snored so loud he shook the rafters. When he quit snoring (& breathing) the rest of us would stop, wait and .... then he's start again. He died @ 57 y.o. of MI.
I had my tonsils/adenoids out age 9. leaving a cavern but still diagnosed with OSA this year. Inherited or not, I will wear PAP of some sort.
