What's the secret to logging in?

I can't seem to successfully log in...

I have a user name and PW.

My username (pj1016) shows-up as online on the index page.

My username does NOT show-up on the forum page.

When I try to log-on, nothing seem to happen, and my posts list me as a Guest.

If I put my username in the "Username" box for a reply or new topic, I get this reply from the System: "That User Name is already taken".

Any ideas to what I am doing wrong or how to fix this?

Hi, see my name above? The same thing happened to me and numerous posts to the admin. haven't helped. Just make up a new user (but only for posting - your real one should work for PM's for some reason!) and see how you do.

If you delete cookies and start over loging in, it should work properly.

Yep, dump the cookies. I have to dump temp internet files regularly too.

I had to dump both the cookies and temp. internet files.

Had some trouble with that too........couldn't log in.......dumped the cookies......still not fixed......downloaded some new stuff....and here I am......STILL not a complete fix, but don't have time to work on that right now......
