changing mask companys HELP

I live in Canada & went to the company next door to my sleep Dr office .

So far I was sent home with a full favce mask .I couldn't use because of my asthma .Then she send me home with a nose mask .I have tired this off & on for a a few week cant wear more that 2 hours .Couldn't stand the sore nose or digging in my face If I make it looser it leaks .
To make long story short they tired me one softer one that leaked all night & gave me back on my old mask & pretty much told me tor swim or swim .

I took the apnea test when I was sick with high temp & Had pnumonia &was sick in bed

MY QUESTION CAN YOU GO TO A DIIFFERNT Mask company if you have not purchased the mask yet

Not sure about Canada, but it's your responsibility to find a mask that you are comfortable with. Go to mask suppliers and try on as many masks as possible until you find one that fits. There are basically 4 types of masks. Nasal pillows, Nasal Mask, Full Face Mask and Total Face Mask. You can go to cpap.com and see pictures and descriptions of each mask.
