as the skipper of the ss edmund-fitzgerald said before they vanished "we're holding our own". it's getting scary in the mobile home. so far we still have power and cable. maybe it will stay up for the duration. nothing wrong with wishing. the feeder bands are flying thru here at full tilt. got the thunderbird car battery inside in case we need it for the cpap's. the t-bird is backed up to the shed, preventing the doors from flying open - justin case.

so far we still have power and the winds are steady up to 30ish with gusts about 10 higher. so not bad here, just yucky and wet. i think i'm feeling the lower pressures in my lungs plus tapering off the massive steroid injections. overall somewhat uncomfortable, but surviving.

life goes on. my wife had to go to work in this mess. hospitals and clinics are doing lab tests so she has to be at work getting them ready to go to the big lab in the sky.
