Help me find Nasalaire One

Post by Kathleen Shanehan » Tue Apr 18, 2006 6:07 am

I see this wonderful forum help so many people. Now it's my turn.
I am in shock because I read that the Nasal Aire One isn't being manufactured any more (from a post wile doing a search for the product). I called Innomed in Florida and was assured the product is manufactured and available. Everyone I've called carries the Nasal Aire 2, Freestyle or a Petite Nasal aire. I cannot locate Nasal Aire one anywhere.

I tried to sleep with my old device and the tape holding a small tear just wont hold. I have the swift but cannot sleep well with it or my comfort lite. I have a nasal aire 2 and it is different. I could get by with it but I love Nasal aire one , am use to it and it's become part of my body. Please help me replace it. I only need the nasal section ( small) but will gladly buy the whole thing. At this point, I'll pay $300.00 for it if I have to (NEW, of course).
Please help.
Kathy

There are also Nasal Aire One's on ebay from time to time. you should check to see if there is one there now. Usually when people list Nasal Aire, it's Nasal Aire One. But you should ask the seller.

also if cpap.com doesn't have it for some reason, you should ask manufacturer where you can get it, explaining your frustration.

Here is another site you can buy it from, but it is more expensive than cpap.com

http://www.thecpapstore.com/

Also, remember, you can buy just the cannula - although I never liked to because those small side hoses get really yucky and discolored and need to be replaced often.

You may want to look at the Nasal Aire II. I have two. One is eighteen months old, and I just got a new one last week. The new one is significatly different than the old one. The nose piece is different, it seems a little larger (more space between prongs) than my old one. The side hoses are also different at the connector, where the hoses conect to the nose piece. Same basic design, but different. You would have to look to see.

I posted a reply on this last night, but I guess it didn't go through.
I bought one of these off of a Yahoo auction. I opened it up, tried it on, turned on my Remstar, and hated the Nasalaire. So, I washed it all up with antibacterial soap, and it's been sitting in the bag ever since. It is a size small, so if you'd like to get it from me, I'll sell it to you a heck of a lot cheaper than a new one. Let me know.
