I was wondering what different types of software there is out there for the remstar auto? I understand that you can have different settings and adjustment through the software. I have encore pro 1.5 but it does not seem to have part of adjusting the machine if needed. which program would I need for this. My therapist has this software but it is about an hour to go and see him,but I like to have this to make it more convenient

Craig, Encore Pro 1.5 does have the capability to adjust your machine. It's much easier to adjust the machine directly though. (Trying to do it through Encore Pro can be like finding your way through a maze.)

In case you don't know how, first disconnect power, then hold down the two buttons directly beneath the display while reconnecting power. Keep holding for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The machine will then be in clinician's mode. From there it's kinda like scrolling through any computer menu. Use the arrow buttons to go from one menu item to another. Use the Heat and Ramp buttons to change the settings.

Setting the machine from the Smartcard is easy, but you don't have all the settings on the card. You just write yourself a device prescription, you set the machine type, pressure and ramp settings. WARNING: If you do this it will zero your data.
