Soooooo, I figured out why my heated tube won't work!! Always looks at the simple things, first, eh? Drumroll, please....

When the DME gave me the heated tube humidifier they didn't give me the 80 watt power supply that goes with it! Ta-da! I just have the 60watt one it came with originally that won't power the heated tube.

At least now when I call with a specific request besides, "well something ain't right"

Glad that mystery is solved and relatively easy.
I knew it required the different power thing but had not thought about them not supplying it.
