PAPCAP..Size ?

Post by Kenneth P. » Sun Aug 05, 2012 7:24 pm

Looking for some info on what size you all got&wear.I have measured my head at 23 in..I'm on the start of a lg..But,I'm afraid that it will be to big..Haven't order'd anything yet..What size work'd for you&if you have one that didn't work for you .I would be very interest'd to get one.Instead of buying a new one & it doesn't work..I work for a lg LTL trucking company&could just ship it by just dropping off in a envelope&sending it my way.Thank's any help would be great...

Just go to your local Party City and buy a wig cap. It is only a couple of bucks. If you aren't around one then go to a costume shop or order online.

My head size is the same as yours. I originally ordered the large, but it swallowed my head. I was able to swap (with zero hassle, no questions asked, great customer service) for a medium size. It is still too large for me. My next one will be a small. For a pix, check out this link: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=80379&p=731861#p731861,

I like the PapCap in that it pulls my chin more straight up than back. I have had no jaw problems. Good luck, Earl

I bought a biker's bandanna cap, and used Velcro and cotton to add the chin strap.
(could be a plain kerchief)

Well, my cap has a label with an M on it. I haven't been at home for over a month (helping wife with caregiving), so I can't check my invoice now. I have had mine for over a year and just don't remember the number of choices.

Their website is very clear in that only two sizes are available. I would recommend the Small-Medium. Earl

-------------------------------[EDIT]----------------------------------------------------

[EDIT] Well, I did find an old email (thank you Gmail). It looks like I had two sizes to choose from:
1 PS-502-RB $39.99 PAP-Cap™ PLUS 4 (L-XL)

I ordered the L-XL, and it was way too big for me. So, I swapped it for the S-M. The size label has an M on it. My confusion.

My head measures 22.75" or so. I ordered the small/medium. I thought it was too big. Somebody in one of the threads said that the caps shrink if washed in hot water. I haven't tried that. I only wore it once or twice.
