I've been wearing my Ruby Red for almost three months. The past few weeks I have been putting it on loosely. It is now just a gentle reminder to keep my mouth shut as I can easily open my mouth and yawn or whatever. I am looking forward to the day when it goes in my pile of bad cpap ideas

You are all wonderful and I've enjoyed each of your reply's for different reasons.

I went to sleep with the blue tape last night for the first time but honestly I don't think it would have gone as well as it did if it were not for the 2 martini's I had after dinner. I like the idea of teaching my self not to need it and maybe I'll try the cloth tape.

P.S. The kids and DH still don't know about the tape thing yet LOL

Hugzzz,
Sheri

I find that sleeping on my side (which I trained myself to do to cut down on snoring for my wife's benefit before CPAP *smile*) helps keep my mouth closed. I also use one of those harder CPAP pillows, which tends to hold my whole face immobile.

Don't know if this works for anyone else. I have a cheesy mustache and beard, so the idea of any kind of tape kind of makes me cringe *smile*.
