I found this other too. The man has several mask and nasal cushions too, contact him and ask what information you need. He told me some of the masks were open by mistake some are returns from customers but all is new never used. Cushions are supposed to be on sealed bags. It sounded legit to me but you know I'm not the CIA, the decision is up to you. I bought 3 items.

if you bought 3 masks, how does it take place? when does the money change hands? how is the money sent? when are the masks sent? how are the masks sent? what guarantee do you have that you will get the masks? being a skeptic, i'm scared of things that sound too good to be true because they usually are. convince me otherwise. i'm sure many people are asking the same thing. thanks.

Treat it similar to eBay - Paypal them the money when you get the tracking number.

i've never used ebay or craigslist because i am a skeptic. i was just interested in how it all flows with this guy. i wasn't saying it is crap.

Here is the craigslist's link. Try if you want, it's up to you. I have nothing to tell me this is a scam, nor can I swear it's not until I have receive my items. Life is a risk, when you go to the casino some times you win sometimes you loss; FYI I don't go to the casino I buy on Craigslist instead .

That sounds like a really good deal for masks. I hope you receive everything you ordered and you're right, live and learn. I bought a BiPap from Craigslist and had no problems at all. It was shipped from another state and I received it quickly and as advertised. Sometimes you just have to take a chance.

Thanks for posting. I try to check CL often. I missed a "big bag" of masks for $25.00 last year and I'm still kicking myself for that!
Like anything else, it's buyer beware and you have to use some common sense.

It is true there is real deals on Craigslist and there is too some sharks.

Two months ago I found a BiPAP for $300, I said to myself '' it can't be true''. I gave the information to somebody here and this person gave the information to another person who finally made the inquiries and bought the machine. It was true!

Once I advertised a fine tea table. A person from another province mounted a big history to try to fraud me, he even said he had sent a check and gave me a tracking number. The famous sending get stock at Fedex or the other company, I don't remember which it was, giving me a message as the sending had been stopped for further verification for I don't know which reason.

The check never arrived. He was also supposedly sending a mover I had to pay for the move (I had the mover amount included in the check ) and give him the table. You see, all was a fraud to still the table and the mover amount. I knew since the beginning something stinks, even before know the check lost in the mail and the mover history.

Yes we need to be prudent and to try to use our judgment and common sense as says Lizistired. Even doing that we can be fraud, that's the risk.

The other day I asked for a Fisher & Paykel HC254 advertised in the picture with 186 hours. The guy accepted to ship, we discussed the price etc. I receive the Paypal invoice telling the machine has 280 hours (something like that). I refused the invoice the guy get mad, I asked him what all that was, he then said he had mixed the amount of hours with another machine he had. The interesting think is he had previously said the machine was his machine but the true is he was an internet seller of all kind of items. I flush him right away, he was lying since the beginning and get caught. Yes a lot of common sense we need and still.

I agree that it is buyers beware when dealing with Craigslist or eBay.

But with that said -- I have gotten some fantastic deals from both -- things I could not have afforded at full retail price. I feel that my family and I are better for it. I recently picked up the PRS bipap I am using from Craigslist. Met the guy in a parking lot. Machine was supposed to be new with 0 hours on it. I paid $270 for it. Machine is great. I have had things mailed to me as well without a hitch. I trust my gut -- if it smells and stinks move on. There have been cons since the beginning of time, it likely isn't going to change. For everyone con -- there are those honest deals that are worth grabbing.
