Is there a thread on top CPAP tips?

Post by Dormejo » Sat Jul 28, 2012 7:54 pm

Really new to CPAP life, I have spent some time browsing around topics on this site, however is there a thread or link to most common tips and suggestions from the experts and long time members.

Or if someone has any could you pass on pls.......joining this forum has been my first big suggestion.
Well done to those who moderate and update.

Jo

I am also fairly new to cpap (1 month) and I joined this forum because I needed support. There are a lot of great people here who have great advice!
I guess my tip would be to not get discouraged! You will get frustrated and irritated but don't let it get ya down. I was excited to start therapy but after a week I wanted to quit! I couldnt get my mask to stop leaking and i just sobbed! I was so upset! No one told me it would be so hard and uncomfortable. I had to do research myself and this forum helped. Also I would say make sure you find a mask that works for you because it will make therapy so much more comfortable!
