Better FFM Mask Seal??

Post by Moondawg » Sun Jul 22, 2012 1:25 pm

My 'data' is showing some major leaks. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the bridge of my nose. Wonder of wonders. Any suggestions as to types of pads, etc.. I can put over the bride of my nose that I can use to get an optimum seal would be most appreciated. Specifics (websites, names) are always good. Thanks as always. (Pugsy, my upper numbers are hanging at 17cmH2O-what a difference I feel!)

Ok, It's got to be me. Went to the Pad-A-Cheek website. I'm sorry but this site reminds me of a lady sitting at her Singer cranking out pot holders for the church bazaar. Hey, I'm all for cottage industries. The pics were a hoot. I'm sure that fluffy stuff is great for some, however I'm looking for something a tad more high-tech. The stink of it is I've come across the 'silicone' pads that sit on the bridge of your nose and the user reviews say they are next to worthless (Amazon.com). Is there nothing available that will effectively minimize mask leakage other than a loaded caulking gun?? Thanks.

But a lot of people swear by Karen's products. She will even modify her design if you prefer. Earl

Padacheek!! Karen is a member here and her products are nothing short of a miracle. And if your problem is unique she will work with you to find the answer. I don't think Karen would waste time making pot holders, she's too busy making this therapy tolerable for us. BTW, it is you!
