Hello to all -
I was wondering if there was somewhere/someone I could go to in regards to finding out about using Battery power for my CPAP machine (the aforementioned F&P HC221).
This is my second machine (the first one put in about 5 or 6 years of work and decided to wither away), and I do know that my first machine had the capability (e.g., proper hookups) to use a marine battery if necessary (e.g., power outage). However, after a cursory examination, I cannot find anywhere I could connect a battery (or other auxiliary power source) to it.
For example, on the old machine, the power cord connected to the machine much like it would on a computer (that is, there was a 'male' end to plug into the wall, and a 'female' end that plugged into the computer). Conversely, this new machine seems to have what would be considered the 'female' end "inside" the machine (meaning the cord is connected to the machine inside of it, and thus the cord does not unplug from the machine).
A rambling post here, unfortunately, ... the main thrust of it is this: Does anyone know about addressing battery power on a Fisher & Paykel HC221?
Thanks very much in advance, and if any more info is necessary of me, please ask away!
