After the initial study, I started on an aPap right away along with a full face mask because I thought I was too much of a mouth breather to try anything else. However, I started having some skin problems and claustrophobia with it. Fortunately, there was a cancellation at the lab and I was called in for the titration study. The therapist had me try an FX nasal which I really liked. So far, so good.
The results of the study were great in terms of my AHI (1.. Unfortunately, my PLMs increased to 210 (46.8 index) and my sleep efficiency is 63.1%. Whoops. I had a great night's sleep last night, though. Wow. As far as the leg movements go, all that's TBD, awaiting the next doctor's app't.
I'm keeping a log, though, based on your suggestions as well as breathing into the mask for a while before actually putting it on. That has helped a lot.

Re: Update on titration study
My hubby's PLMs all but disappeared once he adjusted to cpap and all that goes with it. The sleep doc wanted to put him on meds immediately but our Primary who's not trained in sleep medicine said to wait awhile. I observe he really doesn't move much as long as he's not leaking or dreaming.
