How to Change Pressure in Remstar Auto CPAP with CFlex MAchi

Post by SleepAgain » Tue Apr 11, 2006 8:35 pm

Hello Everyone

I need help in changing the low and high pressures settings on my new Remstart Auto CPAP with CFlex machine.

I searched previous posts and found the following instructions:

1) Unplug the machine.

2) Hold down the two arrow buttoms.

3) Plug the machine to enter the Set-Up Mode.

4) Use the Up and Down arrows to change values.

5) Use the Right and Left buttoms to change fields.

My Question is:

Which are the two arrow buttoms referrred to on step 2 above? Are these the "Heater" and "Ramp" buttoms ... or ... the "User Settings" buttoms ?

When I try the "Heater" and "Ramp" buttoms I get an error message when I plug the unit back on.

When I try the "User Setting" buttoms I get a busy screen that does not react to pushing any of the buttoms.

What am I doing wrong?

The 2 arrow buttons are the grey buttons (unmarked) that point left right. They are located just below the screen. I seem to remember the machine does go through some stuff on the screen before it gets to the first setting you can change. Use the same buttons to move through to the next setting. Use the Heat and Ramp buttons to move up or down through the list of options for each setting.

Hope that helps.

Unplug the machine.

Hold down the two "user" buttons while plugging in the power cord.
(The two < > (user) buttons beneath the window....until the machine beeps....you will then be in Setup mode)
Use these "user" buttons to switch between option categories.

Use the Up and Down arrows to change values.
(The ramp and heated humidifier buttons are the "up" and "down" buttons"
Use these buttons to change settings within option categories.

When you have your settings the way you want them, use the power on/off button to exit "Setup Mode" which will save your settings.
