Ramping

Post by thenapper » Tue Apr 11, 2006 4:31 pm

Can I set the ramp on APAP to something other than 0,2,3,4, or 5 hours? I thought I had the option of 0-45 minutes. I don't understand how the machine is set and apparently can't understand the directions either.

Thanks for the help

If you have the Respironics REMstar Auto, you cannot use the ramp function while in auto mode.

It sounds like you are looking at the split-night setting screen.

I have the remstar auto c-flex. Well, I wonder why that setting is even in there on the APAP mode. And what the 0:00,2:00,3:00,4:00,5:00 means. because it looks like hours for something and it does say ramp. Anybody know?

Those numbers if I remember right is the length of the first part of the split night session. You want to have the 0.00 set in yours if you plan on using it in APAP.
